Project Foundation For Success *
A team of Nvolve scholars and advisors has created a survey (Foundation for Success) to identify capabilities and skills that employers expect of STEM baccalaureate degree graduates beyond their field of study at career entry level. The results of this survey will inform Nvolve program offerings and opportunities for additional skills development for scholars. This research project is expected to be an annual effort to develop a comprehensive catalog of core competencies.
Your participation in this survey will allow us to gain insights from leaders in various industries about how STEM baccalaureate degree graduates at career entry level can be best prepared for success and can help scholars understand the expectations of the workplace. In this survey, we are investigating core competencies associated with the following roles: research assistant, engineer, lab technician, software/web developer, and data analyst. Even if you don’t have direct experience with one of these roles, we would still greatly value any information you can share by completing the survey.
Please see the links below to hear from our scholar researchers and to complete the survey.
